200 firm with a significant IP practice, seeks an outstanding patent attorney with 5+ years of patent
prosecution experience to join its sophisticated patent practice.
Specific responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting complex
electrical/mechanical and software patent applications, preparing legal
opinions, and providing litigation support. Outstanding opportunity to

Candidate must demonstrate substantial experience in drafting
non-provisional patent applications and office action responses.
Candidate must also possess superior law school credentials (top 25%
of class or better), and must have an electrical or computer
engineering degree. Computer science candidates may be considered
depending on breadth of technology experience. Experience in
telecommunications is considered a plus. Candidate must be registered
to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Florida or Virginia Bar membership (depending on office location) or
willingness to sit for next examination is also required.
