Cardinal Intellectual Property, an Intellectual Property Search and Services company, is seeking a Patent Search Professional to conduct patentability, infringement, validity, freedom to operate, and landscape searches and render opinions based on the search results. Professionals are free to work form their own remote home office. Compensation is variable, based on production, providing the search professionals the ability to earn increased compensation with increased effort and/or efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Independently conduct patentability, validity, infringement, freedom to operate, and landscape searches in your technical area of expertise. Prepare written opinions based on the search results.
Position Specifications:
• Doctor of Jurisprudence with a minimum of Bachelors in any technical areas, including: Computer and Information Sciences, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering; Life Sciences; Physical Sciences; Biotechnology; and Chemistry.
• Proficiency in database searching
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking
• Excellent interpersonal communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to effectively work alone
